General Wolves News

It's a bit less. Around 28k for the final.

If thats the likely number then 22,500 S/T holders plus 1,500? Away S/T holders (& some of them will be the same people - should only get one) then still leaves a few especially as not all will be able to go anyway. Has to be some benefit of paying that much money.

ASTs are all season ticket holders, you can't be the former without the latter.

They will however get first dibs on what seats to pick, as standard. It'll just be like any other away game in that respect.

Forgot that fact - if it's 28,000 tickets then there is a reasonable number for non S/T holders (having said that we have got to get past MU first before we start planning anything else!)

No. But Wolves have said around 3000 tickets left and Paddy was saying they should be 5000. The front 2 or 3 rows of the SB Upper being blocked would take a large amount out and if the segregation between the fans in the NB is extended that is another large chunk. Easy to find around 1500 - 2000 tickets gone with those closed seats and then any tickets kept by the club or the FA

I'm not sure they will have blocked the first few rows of the SB upper. Aren't they all STH this season? There hasn't been any reports of STH's being told they can't have their seat.

No idea just guessing/presuming based on what has happened in previous games.

We all knew last year was a one time shot with that group of players. We carefully built a squad with significant incentives, Villa threw money at it up front on players earning £80k per week. Ones smart the other isn't.

Now here I COMPLETELY agree with you. Both were one-shot strategies. However, one also had the ability to be a several shot strategy as we could sell player(s) at high value to allow us to revamp the squad and go again.

Villa had a strategy that absolutely had to work in year one as there was no way to easily recover the situation if it failed.

To make the Wolves Way work the players involved simply must have significant re-sale value so going for the likes of Terry is anathema to the concept. Look at what they have in the summer should they fail again (which is pretty bloody likely now). They can sell Grealish and McGinn. That probably gets them maybe 32-35m, possibly a little bit more. Nobody else has that much value, and all the loanees will need replacing (bar Hause, who I think they will be obligated to buy, knowing the way we like to do business). So they will have about -7m quid to replace Grealish, McGinn, Abraham, Tuanzebe, Mings, probably Kodjia, etc etc. It looks grim.

Ben Stiller was at training today.

What did we do with 7m

Coady
Bennett
Ruddy
Doherty
Moutinho

It can be done!

Uncle Jorge doesn't like them as much as us.

Villatalk are already talking about trying to get Maupay, Lolley and the like. Because that will be really REALLY fucking cheap. Delusional.
