General Wolves News

I must have missed (or forgotten) the news that Sean O'Driscoll has worked in the Wolves academy since last summer.

Only reason I checked is that I could have swore I saw him in the Billy Wright today. Or someone who is the spit of him, in W7/8.

Yeah, we saw him at Bala last year.

Is Sean O'Driscoll the guy that was linked with Wolves everytime we've had a managerial vacancy for what seems like years?

Seems like we are collecting them for our backroom staff nowadays.

The new press room is a bit more fancy than the old desk and 2 chairs look we had

Nice little piece YW. Are Leicester going to play 3 at the back and fair play to the Spurs fan who thinks Alderweireld isn't leaving.

Thanks! Yeah I was surprised to see that about Leicester, wonder if that’s what they have played in pre season. Could ruin their plans if Maguire leaves if that’s the case.

E&S running it. I know Jeff mentions the possibility of leaving if the architects can't find a solution to meet Fosuns requirements but the headline is basically WOLVES TO LEAVE MOLINEUX. The boards around town will effectively say that tomorrow and that is all folk will read rather than the story. Already some early rumblingsfrom fans that we are offski from Molineux.

E&S with their usual trick of taking one line and extrapolating it into a negative headline (because they know no-one wants to leave).

Leaving Molineux is a last resort option if we cannot find a solution here. It's a contingency plan, like all good businesses have. It won't happen.

Totally agree. I would put money on us staying at Molineux.

Let's be honest, 50k is a good size for us. Even if we become a top 6 club playing in Europe, I don't think we would fill 50k week in, week out. The clamour for ST's this summer is down to Nuno and the Portuguese revolution. This will wear off over time IMO and I would guess ST's would peak at about 30k, leaving 20,000 seats for walk up and Away fans.

When you break it down like this, even a 45k seater seems big enough.
