General Wolves News

Great work from our brilliant Sporting Director. New RWB in Jan then.

He really is the new Silvio! We will surely have someone lined up at RWB in early January

Me and 4 others bought a half season ticket this week and during doing it, all the seats around us that 2 others were 50/50 on disappeared. So that made their mind up!

Is their a % of seats a club has to keep back for per-game sales? I think we really will be jam packed with STH come summer if things go to plan!

Never understand the injury circus we get at Wolves. If there’s an issue, shove him in an MRI machine every week until you know what it is, wrap him in horse placenta, fly him to the states to see the best specialist in the world, do whatever you want to fix him. This is all chicken feed in comparison the weekly wage you are wasting on a player who can’t play.

Yep. Can't remember the figure but a % has to be kept for single sales. I think in our 1st stint in the Prem we did or came close to selling the season ticket allocation that was allowed

Unfortunately medicine is an art form, not an exact science. Plus everyone is different and their body can react slightly differently to both the injury and the treatment.

Oh for sure yes. But you can still make a diagnosis and tailor your rehabilitation accordingly, plus the specialist has tons of experience in this field and will have seen millions of cases pretty much covering all bases. Not a wolves doctor guessing that he is ok, because he has rested for 6 weeks and that’s the average time for a sprained ligament to heal. If there is inflammation or oedema visible on an MRI then that is an exact science, it is caused by something, it doesn’t just happen on its own. May possibly be that the ligament has healed but there is a degree of fibrosis/scarring in it meaning he doesn’t have the required flexibility and then it hurts in function. In any of these incidents you don’t send him out to “run it off”.

Just seems wolves never actually seem to know what’s wrong with a player and are guessing. Musculoskeletal is a bit more linear than pretty anything else in the body and even if you can’t nail a diagnosis at the start you will have a list of differentials and over the course of 6 months of constant observation you’d be pretty rubbish if you couldn’t solve the issue.

21,000 season tickets

3200 away fans

Remainder were pay per game, 4-5000.

Nah, it's all a ploy to instill complacency and arrogance, which is the only thing that can stop us!

"Now the fans are getting entertained at home and away. 'West Bromwich Albion, we're coming for you' is the chant ringing out. It's fantastic."

Matt Murray in cringe worthy chant shocker. As I said about the "wanky wanky" chant - it's great - I think anyone thinking these are pathetic is inside a very tiny minority :)

I love hearing West Brom we're coming for you
I also love their response
We're waiting for you

Excellent banter from both sets of fans

Cav to Score Wolves to Win Enhanced odds, had me some of that

Boly, Douglas and Ivan up for PFA Player of the Month for November

It will be Leon, unlucky on Cav who's had his best month in English football by an absolute mile.

Fans vote on that award so you never know.

Leon will win the FL player of the month and Nuno should get the Manager award....just in time for the curse ahead of the Sunderland game of course.
