Combination of depression, shite dressing room, injury, and just not giving a fuck by the end of it.What happened to Doumbia anyway? He bossed the first 4-5 games and then just deteriorated completely..homesick or what?
BBC have Bod on the bench for the Iceland match.
Wasnt it The Cure who sang "Thursday watch the Wolves instead"

He didn't have depression, mental exhaustion at a real push:

Essentially he was one of those footballers who was alright when things were going well but had no appetite to dig in when stuff wasn't all going his way, they're ten a penny. His lack of application was scandalous.
On this, think it's just a case of UEFA listing everyone who's in the squad as on the bench. If he were anything like fully fit then Sig wouldn't have started ahead of him and he'd certainly have come on for the last 15 minutes if it were any kind of option rather than Kjartansson. He is their first choice striker, they were desperate for a goal or two (they ended up getting them in injury time), he wouldn't have remained an unused sub if he were genuinely available for selection. They play Turkey on Sunday, maybe he'll be able to play some part then but I don't think he was in serious contention tonight.
Starting tonight.
Is Grayson the guy in charge of PR etc?
