What happened to Doumbia anyway? He bossed the first 4-5 games and then just deteriorated completely..homesick or what?

Combination of depression, shite dressing room, injury, and just not giving a fuck by the end of it.

Once we appointed KJ there was no chance of him playing for us again. He's since done pretty well in Toulouse.

BBC have Bod on the bench for the Iceland match.

On this, think it's just a case of UEFA listing everyone who's in the squad as on the bench. If he were anything like fully fit then Sig wouldn't have started ahead of him and he'd certainly have come on for the last 15 minutes if it were any kind of option rather than Kjartansson. He is their first choice striker, they were desperate for a goal or two (they ended up getting them in injury time), he wouldn't have remained an unused sub if he were genuinely available for selection. They play Turkey on Sunday, maybe he'll be able to play some part then but I don't think he was in serious contention tonight.

Wasnt it The Cure who sang "Thursday watch the Wolves instead"

That's at least three of us who changed that particular line to suit.

He didn't have depression, mental exhaustion at a real push:

Essentially he was one of those footballers who was alright when things were going well but had no appetite to dig in when stuff wasn't all going his way, they're ten a penny. His lack of application was scandalous.

Frustrating because he clearly had a lot of talent. We were really good in that Leicester game (second half) anyway. O'Hara even looked half fit I think! But as you said that cunt just ignored that performance and carried on with his bullshit. Wha a goal by Sako as well.

Saiss has started today for Morocco

I imagine he'll go to the ACON now. Slightly annoying.

Finished 0-0, he managed to get his trademark booking in injury time.

That'll be a big blow for us, great opportunity for him though. Mark Venus favourite for the Cov job! Where is he now?

He's Director of Football at Cov.

Head of Communications & Marketing so PR would be in his remit. Last 12-18 months not the best on that front!

Job at Redrow is Group Director of Communications
