General Wolves News

Any news on when the Cunha ban is announced? Has he been given a further charge for last Saturdays debacle?

Given they've already done him for that once this season and they reduced that by a game due to previous good behaviour then he's almost certain to get that one back as an absolute minimum which puts him out of Ipswich

Stupid fucking actions have consequences, so we'll have to suck it up
Yep.

I mean Bully used to regularly get sent off for lamping people in the 80s and 90s so I'm not going to go full sackcloth and ashes over it.

We shouldn't be in the position where we're so reliant on one player is the big picture.

Daft question, he can appeal (no point imo) but if he appeals does make him available like slot or the 3 game ban will start straight away then any further punishment in top?

No, it's a separate charge. The 3 games for violent conduct would need to have been appealed earlier in the week and would have been reviewed before the weekend anyway as it's an onfield decision not a charge

Obviously your last point is completely correct. There are a couple of big differences though. Firstly Bully just walked off rather than acting a complete prick when the ref has just done his job. Secondly he took a ridiculous amount of abuse from defenders in an era when they were allowed to let the forward know they were there.

The first Cunha one was basically like a red card just retrospective. The fact it was downgraded from 3 to 2 was just weird. So on that basis a second red card adds a game on and that’s where the 4 games is coming from. Whether the “misconduct” charge will add more on is anyone’s guess or whether it will just be a fine much like “failure to control your players” is.

It isn't and doesn't. Without the post card shenanigans it'd be 3 games.
