General Wolves News

Our fans love a bollocks rumour don't they. I wonder if it stemmed from people thinking he was absent as they didn't recognise him now he has shaved his head!

He didn’t play in Algeria’s second game at all. Probably picked up an injury in the first one.

Same tweeter says he's training on his own.
If he was doing that he wouldn't be part of a 1st team session at Molineux unless he was doing injury rehab.

Bombed out he would train after the main group when a coach is available

I agree.

It feels like he simply wasn't recognised initially and people have made up a story to suit the narrative that he wasn't there.

It was stupid by Podence, but they really do have it in for us this season.

Forest have seen an opportunity to weaken a rival by getting their top scorer (lol) out of the picture for six games and taken it.

Little do they realise that after scoring on Saturday Podence was going to do fuck all for six games anyway ;)

It's hard not to believe that had it been another club Forest would have been told that the on-field ref and VAR saw nothing, Johnson himself in an interview didn't confirm it so go away and shut up. I know it's easy to suggest we've got a victimisation complex but this comes on the back of Lemina's second yellow at St Mary's which stands out as something else being applied subjectively too.

Worth considering that Forest thinking they have an inarguable case doesn't mean they do.

Cooper was banging on about how they clearly should be allowed to put Steve Cook back in their squad and that once they reviewed the obvious evidence then the Premier League would see sense. Well I don't see him in their squad.

Reading through this blokes tweets, he explained the following -

* he says it's "almost certain" Podence will be banned for 6 games. VAR needs clear evidence to intervene, the FA panel will only need to make it's judgement based on the "balance of probability"
* thinks a written statement from Brennan Johnson will probably seal it
* with video evidence (what evidence?), Johnson's reaction & statement, the FA are likely to rule in the balance of probability that Podence did indeed spit
* Very few players escape a ban once an FA charge has been laid on them
* the panel is made up of people including former players, three will be selected randomly
* the panel can be advised by a member of the referee advisory panel with regard to questions about the 'laws of the game'

So in short, he seems confident Podence will be banned. Forest must be laughing their arse off. They've created this weird rivalry with us, the nonsense their manager has spouted after the game, the way MGW has acted, and now this attempt (which looks like being successful) at getting our top scorer banned.

I really hope they go down.

With all this stuff that's happened since we complained to the PGMOL, it really does look like we've upset them and they're just going against us at every single opportunity.
