General Wolves News

I think the morons climbed into him after he criticised the Liverpool chants (which I don't doubt happened).

We have some appalling people following us, it's been a factor in me not writing any more (but never say never).

Beginning to feel a bit sorry for PTS. His liberal attitude as to when to take holidays has brought it on himself to a degree, but the mouthbreathers pile on to every comment. He entered the world of must win games today, saying that Forest isn't. He's right, but is being destroyed. If I were him I'd go down the route Spiers did, Tweet links to stories and news, Tweet during the game and press conferences. Ignore all responses, it can't be good for your mental health
I have no sympathy for him. If he did his job and set his stall out early he'd be able to say 'fuck you' to the mouth breathers.

As it is his dismissive attitude and holiday antics have fucked him.

For that he deserves everything he gets.

Well we had a very loud Jimmy Savile chant on Sat. Bantz though isn't it?

Nah, not having that. Some of the stuff sent his way is downright nasty.

There's such a bizarre vitriol aimed at human beings simply doing their jobs. Even if he's not been present for games he shouldn't have been able to miss, that doesn't excuse the abuse thrown at him.

I simply don't understand why so many people think it's warranted, regardless of the quality/quantity of his output.

Why can't people just be nice?

Because you end up with Boris Johnson.

All it takes is for good men to do nothing.

Agreed. You can disagree with someone without being rude.

Tbh, I'm not overly sure why anyone cares about a 'local' journalist, but I'm a bit removed (physically, not emotionally)

But he has become a different player to the one who broke through under Lopetegui at Porto, surprising many with his appetite to hunt down the ball. That was a non-negotiable in the Championship and his 42 appearances that season helped set him on a new path.
Tackling has become a strength. Only four midfielders have made more of them in the Premier League this season. He ranks third for interceptions too. Joao Palhinha tops the former list, while it is Idrissa Gueye and Cheick Doucoure who top the latter.

These players have a very different profile.

They cannot pass a ball like Neves.......He has improved in tight spaces. Neves ranks fourth in the Premier League for the most passes played when put under pressure by an opponent. It is indicative of a player still adding to his game.

Few days old, so apologies to anyone who has already read it, but I think this is a good, balanced piece

I hope so. From the fleeting glimpses I’ve seen of him so far he looks like exactly what we’re crying out for.

Leave him be . . .it was a really bad injury . He'll need time . Give him a match with the under 21 team first .
I agree he looked encouraging from his few performances last season .

£57k fine for failing to control players and staff at the end of the Leeds game

Unsubstantiated so probably bollocks reports on Twitter that RAN has done one
