GON got some criticism the other week for mentioning Cunha's out of possession quality, but against Fulham he was quick to mention how good he was out of possession.

I can't say i saw a vast difference in either performance to be honest.

However i think it's worth giving credit to GON for this, perhaps he realised he shouldn't have made those criticisms publicly, and addressed it.

Or the whole thing was genuine and it's actually been good management.

One of my big moans with Cunha has always been that - although we can all obviously see the talent - it’s been debatable about where he’s actually playing, what’s he actually doing…..

Up until recently we’ve seen him playing where he wants - often when he wants - drifting in and out of games…….then producing moments of magic to rescue us.

Seems like we might now - at last - be seeing a more consistent performer in a recognised system doing a recognised job……

Not sure whether that’s credit to GON……or a criticism that it’s taken him nearly two years to understand what to do with him.

I'm sure it's already been said but that first Cunha goal was so reminiscent of a couple of Neves to Jota classics from a few years ago, with Cunha's control and finish being even better.

For Cunhas first, Larsen's totally got the attention of Fulham's CBs, creates the space beautifully.

Also, I think if we conceded that goal we'd be really pissed off with Andersen.
