France here we come and other 2015/16 Pre-Season Stuff

If there both at Clairfontaine then I shall not bother.

Too much Wibble attached to this French trip now, only a small limited number of fans allowed into Clairfontaine because of security risks. Was looking forward to going to Paris but not going to bother now.

Club statement on tickets for France

Wolves have released ticket details for the two fixtures, which will take place as part of the first team squad’s pre-season training camp based at the Clairefontaine French national training facility.

The fixture versus FC Chambly is on Wednesday, 8th July 2015 (Kick-off: 3:00pm CEST) and the second game, versus Paris FC, is on Friday, 10th July 2015 (Kick-off: 3:00pm CEST).

General Information:
Admission tickets to the two fixtures are available via the Wolves Ticket Office either in person or by calling 0871 222 1877 from 12 noon on Monday 15th June 2015.

All admission tickets are priced at £10.

Fans will need to provide a supporter number per ticket and – as requested by Clairefontaine – a passport number.

Attending fans will then need to present their passport on entry to Clairefontaine, which will be retained whilst supporters are within the facility.

Fans can gain entry – on presentation of a valid match ticket and passport – confirmation of the entry point will be confirmed on the admission ticket and this will not be posted until week commencing 22nd June.

Supporters are reminded that Clairefontaine is a training base – the equivalent to St Georges Park at Burton-upon-Trent. There is a small, all-seater stand, however, there is no guarantee of a seat and some fans may be situated at pitch side.
Initial release of admission tickets are 250 for the Wednesday fixture versus FC Chambly and 250 for the Friday fixture versus Paris FC. The allocation will then be reviewed subject to demand. Fans travelling without a ticket will not gain access to the facility.

Car parking at the venue is also limited and organised or public transport is recommended by Clairefontaine.

There is the option of a packaged trip, which includes both games, hotels and travel. Click here for more details.

Matt Grayson, Head of Marketing & Communications, Wolves, said, “We’ve been working hard with our counterparts at Clairefontaine to ensure as much supporter access to the two training games as possible.

“For the first time in recent years, the first team squad is participating in a training camp as opposed to a traditional pre-season trip.

“We’d like to thank Clairefontaine for their ongoing help and assistance.

“We also have our usual extensive programme of domestic fixtures lined-up, including the short trip to Burton Albion on the 18th July and the big Midlands-derby home fixture versus Aston Villa on the 28th July.”

They are nicknamed "The Boro" which doesn't help :) Cheers.

They were called Nuneaton Borough until they went to the wall. They reformed as Nuneaton Town, but their fans still call them the Boro.

I'm tempted to go to the Villa game now. Stupid lack of willpower.
