FA Cup: Wolves 2-1 Man Utd - Verdict thread

Big question, was the match day thread negative?

I'm speechless and emotional right now. All those years of watching shit makes tonight so worthwhile. Guys we have a football club to be proud of again.

Nah, never a red, didn't come through with his studs. Just a really hard tackle.

He slid in, wrapped Jota up, had no control. Blatant red, IMO.

Never a red. Top end of yellow, but still a yellow.

Me too. Thought it was a yellow, however the one angle it did look nasty so can see both sides of the argument.

First thought it was harsh but following the replays changed my mind, he went in rashly, was totally out of control and cleaned Jota's legs out before he got the ball. Only thing saving him was his feet were tucked behind him.

Absolutely delighted with the performance and the result. I'd have given MOTM to Moutinho but there's an argument for Jimenez, Neves or Jota. I thought that they were going to do a job on us for the first 10 minutes as we didnt have the ball and when we did we had no time to settle. From that point onwards we were by far the better side and 2-1 flattered United as it was far more comfortable than that.

Just can’t come up with anymore great comments, MOTM was Moutihno for completely ran the show second half. Atmosphere was immense but was glad there wasn’t an impromptu pitch invasion at the end.
Still struggling to believe how easy it was in that last 20 minutes.

Tremendous day. Everybody gets a 9 minimum.

Jota MotM.

And now begins the bunfight for Wembley tickets.
