FA Cup: Quarter Final Draw

But that then means the "other" Saturday trade in Wolvo that don't want to go to the game has nowhere to go. I think the pub shut down will start at 3pm myself.

The amount of United plastics who want to come out and shout about "their" team despite having never been within a reindeers fucking bellow of Old Trafford will augment the numbers of their real fans.

Nah, I can't see it mate. I've watched tons of United games in town, before/after our matches. The number of faux Reds can be counted on one hand. And if you're of that mindset (ie I will support a team who are 70 miles away and never actually go) then the last thing you want is aggro, of which there'd be plenty.

"Normal" Saturday night traffic in Wolves doesn't start until after 7pm really. Maybe even a bit later. We'll all be clearing out by then.

Blah meh

Boring.

I'll log off for the night if this is going to be the standard.

Twas the obvious joke (and you know it) but if you are not feeling your sense of humour tonight low level bantz will be put to bed.

I'm just stunned Paddy has been sick in The Western....waste of a good pint, that.

Saturday night in Wolverhampton, oh joy! Think I'll give it a miss, especially considering what the South Bank was like at the Spurs game which kicked off at the same time.

Why what was wrong with it?

Think this is a decent time, will be a good atmosphere. Cant wait

Lots of people will get to the pub from about midday for this match, there will be a few drunkenings.

That would be foolish really, wouldn't it.

No-one needs nearly eight hours in the pub before a game.

Terrible behaviour. Bring back prohibition, I say.

I think I will probably work till midday, pootle around the house, hoover up some well-needed brownie points and get the bus in no earlier than about half-three.

Will treat it as a normal nightgame. Into town for 4ish and hit the Diet Coke like a crazy person.

Won't be leaving that early so don't expect I will be up there till 4 ish - more than enough time for a social drink or 2 before the game

If I go, I'll probably get into town in time for the TV sporting entertainment du jour.

They’ve Scrapped print at home for STH as it was a disaster at shrews. They said the delay was people late to ground, but there was less there than normal. The issue was the scanner wasn’t accepting the tickets very quickly.
It never fails to amaze me how many fans are unable to put a barcoded piece of paper into a slot to gain entry and treat it like its some kind of Krypton Factor challenge.

Thought I would pop on and purchase my ticket for the game. Wouldn't normally do it straight away but I have a bit of time this morning and my schedule is a bit manic from this afternoon for a bit. I am greeted with this message

Your queue number: 572630
Number of users in queue ahead of you: 1054
Expected arrival time on the website: 10:52
Your estimated wait time is: 24 minutes

A bastard queue and 24 mins. I presume the server will crash if more than 2 people buy at the same time then.

The next time off I have to get the ticket is next Wednesday.

We have till 4th March so don't see the need to crash the ticket sales site just yet!

Normally I would wait but I don't want to be knobbing around with ordering when I am on me hols and I know when I get back on the 3rd I will forget and then remember on the 5th and someone will have nabbed my seat.
