And you don't think that there are plenty of aspects to individual mistakes? Or would you prefer to it ALL to be GON's fault?Stuff like this @Elephant Pyjamas
All I'm saying is plans are great until you mess it up. And there can be various reasons for those mistakes, not just "the plan is shit".Stuff like this @Elephant Pyjamas
Ha, like I haven’t (in this very thread today) repeatedly say he’s done well this season. You’ve been very strange these last few monthsSays the guy giving it the big un because you've been a consistent misery about GON?
Well as i said, for me, Dawson is our best defender, certainly best CB, Sa is clearly our best keeper, and Neto is our most creative player (or best attacker)Define a largely fit squad? 2/3 players out that’s about normal for most sides to deal with at any point and should be manageable by some decent organisation and a tactical rethink none of which have been evident in recent weeks.
What you have to say is (and this goes back to Nuno to a certain extent) is that often an oppositions best tactic is to let us have the ball as much as possible in our own half, as we have little idea how to break teams down and we're so prone to individual errors and our midfield is completely vulnerable to the transition.
Telling someone they're "strange" or "weird" because they are challenging you (or just responding to you) is excellent by the way.Ha, like I haven’t (in this very thread today) repeatedly say he’s done well this season. You’ve been very strange these last few months
We are not playing a centre back pair.I've been working so missed the first half. But it sounds great. On the players v tactics discussion, I think it's a bit of both. We are tactically poor defensively and not very disciplined, but I would also say that you'd struggle to find a poorer centre back pair than Kilman and Toti outside of the bottom 3 teams.
You can’t read so I’ll just not bother with youTelling someone they're "strange" or "weird" because they are challenging you (or just responding to you) is excellent by the way.
These all feel like things that a manager 35 games into his tenure should largely have stamped out. We’ve been seeing all three for weeks now, with no abatement in sight.GON could well have got it all wrong I'll admit that. But equally the players might also be making poor decisions playing it out, not coping with the press, and not tracking runners into the box.
Okay, rephrase, pair of centre backs. We are not playing a centre back pair.
No no how can it possibly be his fault that we can’t defendThese all feel like things that a manager 35 games into his tenure should largely have stamped out. We’ve been seeing all three for weeks now, with no abatement in sight.
I was just thinking about this. Jeff/Fosun needed a result & positive performance today just as much as we, the fans, did. The inevitable price increase announcement is going to be brutal.Relegation form and selling our best players to fund any signings. Good luck with that Season Ticket announcement Jeff.
Cunha still doesn't look fit to me. Hasn't since he came back. RAN looks like he can't be arsed without the ball. Lemina is trying but again is probably just knackered.Tactically it's a mess again, asking players to do things they aren't capable of. We've been tackled 4 or 5 times facing our own goal 30 yards out which is criminal. All that said there's an effort issue here and I'll calling out Lemina, Cunha and RAN. When your best players cba you've got an issue. The NB Uppper gives you the perfect view of who is trying and who isn't
