There's only so much a coach can do to improve players, sooner or later they'll hit a limit of what they're capable of.
From what I've seen today there's been a lot more individual errors than systematic failings. Like the one Traore gave away just before the opener, the idea was alright with Lemina making the run past him on a Palace players blind side but Traore fucked the pass up and gave it away with Lemina then the wrong side of the ball. Players have to take responsibility for the execution and that was simple stuff rather than a manager asking for too much.
Similar with the RAN fuck up on the first goal, Wolves have been awful at defending those overlaps for ages but Toti actually covered the run outside well for a change and then RAN goes and fucks it up in a different way by showing Olise inside onto his stronger foot. That's amateur hour stuff from him.
