To echo others on here - there’s no point in sacking RE now. He’s won 1 game in 17 and we probably won’t win another this season (sorry Rob, but you were harping on about how many games we were “undefeated” while having a pop at the fans this week, so you only have yourself to blame). We don’t want to taint anyone else by bringing someone else in to end the season, so just let him coast through with us losing every week til the seasons done, as depressing as that is, and then bin him immediately and start completely fresh.

Of course, Fosun had to pay a decent fee to get him, so they’ll probably stick with him, despite everything pointing towards it being a disaster.

I genuinely won’t be bothered if we sell every single one of this squad, bar possibly Mane (who will probably go) and the Bueno boys. Santi Bueno I think should be our captain next season. He’s one of an extremely small handful of players who can say they’ve given it a proper go this season and actually look like they care. The rest can fuck off.

Mentioned it in the buildup thread, but I sit next to a Palace ST holder at work and he has been telling me all week how bad they are. Standard Wolves that we still somehow managed to find a way to lose, even if I think the ref was harsh on us.

Just want the season done now & let’s never speak of it again.

Maybe it's recency bias, but this season feels like my worst Wolves season.

Even the season you mention, or the 2001/2 horrorshow, had their moments of hope and fight. This season we've looked doomed almost from the start, stuffed with rank players and barely anyone to identify with or excite you, and the resignation and embarrassment seems pretty unique to me.

This is one feels the worst because what has come before it. Experienced the highest of highs in my time as a fan and its crashed so badly.

Previous shit seasons have followed boring seasons, other shit seasons or temp highs.

Going down to League One when we had Bakary Sako and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake deserves a prison sentence. Which of course, convicted drunk driver Dean Saunders should have had anyway.

Statistically it's our worst individual season by some considerable distance. If we don't get another couple of points it'll be the worst ever without a doubt. I'd say 85/6 is worse at the moment, but that was as much a result of the 2 seasons which preceded it.
