I don't know your situation but you should have access to the loan pool from next week. If you are registered with your Local Authority for business rates (even if you pay £0) there should be a grant of upto £10k available and your LA will contact you direct if you are eligible

Landlords are not going to be allowed to evict, also some schools will stay open for key workers and vulnerable so there will be meals required, dunno if it will be enough to help you out....fingers crossed

Think that the charity I help run will qualify for a grant though none of this is clear yet & seeing as we have £8,500 of rent to pay for a year no sales will give us problems.

Having to recommend that we almost shut down and only staff a couple of sessions a week depending on how many can still attend the shop as it's all done by volunteers, half of whom we have had to tell to not come in as they have underlying medical issues. They even had to put up with me in there this morning even though I don't normally work in the shop so was 'winging it a bit' - got away with it . We are almost the only place locally that you can get NHS hearing Aid batteries & if you are having to isolate not hearing anything as well is going to a serious problem

It's all going to be fine folks. The flat opposite fine is being ripped out and renovated and one of the guys stopped me on the stairs to talk about the virus. Personally I just wanted to get out the building but he wanted to tell me that as soon as the good weather starts the virus will die. Because all virus' die in warm weather dontcha know. I tried to point out he was talking bollocks but he was adamant. I must re-evaluate my stance obviously.
