Actually we really do have to joke or we will go mad. And as jokes go this was a corker. I would add that Adrian self isolated last night in much the same vein!

Unfortunately, I find myself surrounded by ill people! Fortuntely, i dont think many I've been in contact don't appear to be C Virus free! It has meant quite a few conversations with people qualifies to offer a conversation though, and they have all repeated the same thing, that has already been intimated. The issue china faced that caused them to create instant new hospitals is that c virus is easily transmitted and it kills 2 out of a hundred people it infects, doNOT mistake that with Flu. The Dr's I've been speaking to over the last 48 hours all have said we do not have enough intensive care beds to cope with a major outbreak because the numbers ill simply overwhelming. The numbers WILL become overwhelming if nothings done. With outbreaks and victims now widespread It amazes me that some people still act otherwise

The today programme earlier this week interviewed a dr in Milan,he said they had 1000 icu beds in his hospital and was quite worried,then interviewed someone from the nhs who said we've got 4000 icu IN THE COUNTRY so we should be ok.

Over 2000 tests though done since yesterday so was always going to be higher today. 29,764 tested now, was 27,476 yesterday and 26,261 on Tuesday. I think it's far more spread than people know already and has been for a while, it's just a matter of keeper those most at risk as safe as possible.

Yep

In a few weeks those numbers will look pretty insignificant

I think around 70% of people need to have immunity for it to be stopped which would meant 40mil would have to get and and get over it.
