Went to see Alan Davies at sympathy hall last night, on his Little Victories tour.
Had been to see his life is pain tour too. Really liked the life is pain tour. Weirdly, when I was there I recall smiling/grinning a lot, with few out loud laughs, but re-watched it on Dave recently & kept guffawing.

Anyhoo, little victories was ace. More a series of anecdotes, than a themed show like life is pain. Less formal, or structured one may say, but more laugh out loud moments. Anyone with kids would love it! Some bits had me in tears.

Phoenix Nights is to return as a live show at the Manchester Arena. Loved Phoenix Nights first time around, guessing it'll run for more than two nights though once they sell out in under a minute.

Also just noticed Dave Spikey is at the Wulfrun tomorrow night.

Well worth seeing. Its a repeat of what he is doing now and his gig in Stafford last month was superb.

The Civic tweeted about it tonight and it was on the rolling news bar at the top of their website. Neither are there now.
