Presumably GON decided that RAN was going to be his left back in a back four before Bueno left. I think you can blame him for that, but I generally agree with everything else.

Certainly GON is culpable for ostracising Bueno and having no adequate replacement (he should know he wouldn’t get one if that’s what he was hoping) and you can’t let him off the hook for a defensive capitulation this bad. It’s an embarrassment.

Well, the good news is this hammering has come so early in the season, that GON will now know that the defensive set up he has gone with simply isn't good enough. Total lack of discipline. Stupid individual mistakes. Failing to track runners. Gaps everywhere.

This makes no sense, we were terrible defensively all last season, especially when Dawson got injured, we still had our 2 'best players' then. Of course its silly to start calling for GONs head already but after a full pre season he just won't get much time if we continue shipping goals like this.

A lot of the players we have sold are doing well for other clubs. Maybe Gary would have done better if we could have kept some of them. I agree that defensively we have big problems but not sure whose is to blame for that.

Don’t think he’d be vindictive about it in that way, he’s just got no idea how the attacking patterns he wants to generate absolutely ruin our shape and solidity.
