Another poor performance, particularly defensively, and another 3 goals conceded.

We woke up for 10 mins before HT but then went back to sleep at the break and offered practically nothing after that, other than gifting goals from set-pieces once again.

You can say we need another defender still but we've regressed back to being shocking at the back after looking a lot more solid in Vitor's first three games.

Takeaways - Sarabia is dreadful, and I'd rather play Guedes who at least has a bit of pace, energy and a lot more effort, even if he does lack any real quality.

Rodrigo needs to start. Doc needs replacing ASAP. Personally I'd go back to Semedo at RCB and Rodrigo at RWB.

Joao Gomes my MOTM, even considering his role in their goal losing the ball.

Shite hapless performance. A good spell just before half time but offered next to nothing for the other 85 mins. Chelsea get an easy 6 points - 9-3 on aggregate. I honestly don't know where our next point is coming from. We are a bit tighter than under O'Neil but still very poor defensively. Wholesale changes needed to shore this up as we simply aren't at the standard needed to survive.

This was ok, then we gave 2 stupid goals away.
Ait Nouri fucking around.
Then a shit defensive corner

Agbadou had a great game
Bueno awful

So.fucking shit

Just so, so easy, week after week. How do we keep leaving players totally unmarked from a variety of scenarios in the middle of the penalty box? It should be impossible.

Offered precious little of our own, we're back to the gameplan being "give it to Cunha", and we're never going to be able to grind out points with the likes of Doherty and Bueno in a back three.

A nod to a truly shameful sub appearance from Guedes, what a complete piece of shit that guy is.

Cannot see anything other than four defeats coming up and then we're right behind the eight ball. Unless we do something meaningful in the next 12 days. Which we probably won't.

The defence will once again get pelters and rightly so, however looking at the midfield two in Gomes and Andre they offer us nothing creatively and when it reaches the front man our number 9 it ever hardly sticks. And fucking hell turning to the bench and Guedes and Bellegarde are the offering, oh lord kill me now. Sadly it's not going to get any better.

Teams must be licking their lips at the thought of playing this Wolves team. Sleepy defenders, no control of midfield, and if Cunha isn't firing then pretty blunt in attack (is Strand Larsen actually any good!?). And a subs bench that's so devoid of talent it beggars belief.

Can these defenders be coached to stop gifting goals? Doubt it. A lot of teams who get relegated trot out the "we'll put it right in training" line each week after getting hammered, but never do.

So many yellow performances, one thing you’ve got to do is at least match the energy levels of there’s a quality gap.
This squad of players aren’t good enough for this league and it’s an indication that the PL isn’t as good as it’s hyped if we survive, Ipswich have a great opportunity to stay up because we’re nowhere near good enough either.
That second half was just a waste of everyone’s time I could’ve gone to bed and predicted that outcome.
Before people go on about how great Chelsea are that their first win in 6 and a defeat at Ipswich mixed in there to.
All the old problems are still here, weak ass mentally, crap at set piece defending concede goals for fun.
Problem is now we look a defensive disaster still and now a bit of a blunt sword going forward.
Just think better sides suss us out very quickly which again points to the fact we should be going down normally.
The squad that’s been accumulated over the past few years is a disgrace and we’ve been left with no leaders, 1/5 players, petulant players and duds.
The only redeeming feature was the fact we scored a lot but that’s dwindling.

I'm not seeing what you did with Guedes. He showed 10 times more effort than Sarabia did, linked up with Rodrigo and tried to get the ball into the box as often as possible. I've seen dozens of worse sub performances than that.

He has to start on the right next game because the other options don't bear thinking about. I'll take effort, energy, and actually making forward runs, over ambling about doing fuck all like the rest of them do.

Effort, you're having a laugh.

Look at him on Jackson's disallowed goal. Weaker than Liz Truss's grasp of economics and then gives up. He is fucking awful.

How thoroughly depressing it is watching us. We no longer look like we belong in this league.

Agbadou was pretty decent and hopefully settling down. Getting a bit sick of JSL kicking footballs at goalkeepers
When's Sasa fit ?

This is what, our seventh season at this level now?.....and look at the players we are bringing off the bench in the second half, deary me. We may stay up because there might, repeat might still be three teams worse than us, but I dont really feel like we belong at this level anymore.

Shit, I just don't see how we stay up, it's not losing the last 3 games, it's the manner in which we lost them.
I didn't expect our defensive play to be completely sorted out but I was hopeful Pereira would at least be able to get us better organised, apparently not.
I like Larsen but he really needs to man up a bit and put more physical pressure on defenders.
Only positives were Gomes had a mostly good game, actually provided some decent attacking play, Agba was OK, young Gomes did OK when he came on, think he'll start in front of RAN next time.
I don't see us buying enough decent players to make much difference.

I wonder how the players feel when a good transfer like Manu falls through?

Probably similar to us.

We need a good positive signing (or two) to give everyone a lift.
