Cardiff Away Build Up Thread

Lots of this crap on social media

To be fair he's got brilliant spelling for his age, grammar needs work.

Usual PMT (Pre Match Tension), but we have nothing to fear from any team in this league.
I expect us to win comfortably

This will be tough and no doubt a few "tackles" will be flying in. It doesnt break our season if we lose.
We will need to see some steel and Neves/Saiss need to provide that but as Cardiff (with the ball) launch it effectively, our back three will have to deal with a lot.
I can see this being every bit as nasty as the Boro game which Mr Warnock will have studied, and seeing us lose our heads will give him a way to plan.
Cardiff have been there most of the season and have overcome 4 straight losses, they are a good team and the manager has achieved this with a fraction of his rivals expenditure, so full respect to him.
I predict a 1-1

Sat at work wondering why I thought it'd be a good idea to give this one a miss and watch it on the box. Stupid decision.

They are playing the Liquidator on 6music, must be a good sign.

nervous, but quietly optimistic about the result if the referee doesn't allow 'dark tactics'. Cardiff must be more worried about a defeat than us though.
2-1 win for us

SAM's prediction
Home win 35% Draw 28% Away win 37%

Afobe is just simply not good enough and is a ‘luxury’ that we can ill afford. I cannot understand, for the life of me, whatever possessed Nuno to sign him on loan. Let’s hope that Jota or Bonatini play, this evening, in the centre-forward role.

Jota doesn't play the centre forward role that well, but agree that Afobe changes the way we play so would prefer the early season Leo up top to start

Yes, Mick. Our game does not suit Benik, at all. He’s like a fish out of water.

I actually think Afobe could do well up front tonight as Cardiff will look to stifle our output from the wings, leaving them more exposed in the middle. Afobe feeds off those through balls from the centre, just look at his first goal vs Burton, so if Ruben keeps playing those through balls into the area, Afobe should have a few chances.

Think it'd be arrogant to expect anything other than a very close game. If we play to our strengths though, we should win. Think the first goal will be absolutely crucial.

I’ll be very happy with a point from this one.

Isn't it better to have another option then no other option....

Ask me my thoughts on Afobe during the match...
