Bring it on....

Went once, one of the most miserable games I've ever been too. Horrible weather, marched from the coach behind a load of chain link fencing with idiots shouting dogs abuse at each other. Got beat 2-0 and then marched back to the coach with pre game repeated only with more vitriol.
Not really the mouth frothing type me.

Too young really for the 90s and since then we’ve rarely played, certainly not as favourites. Was away at uni for 5 of those years and Only time we play them when I’m around and favourites being in the Covid season with no fans…

So I’ve not really fully experienced it. So not had the negative experiences yourself, Langers etc. describe.

Never been to the hawthorns so hopefully get a ticket if we win the replay. Currently at 1060 which should be enough unless it’s a surprisingly low allocation.
Sorry you missed out on Bully getting the winner there... still one of the best times of my life.... fantastic scenes... "Shit on the Albion"

Only ever seen us win there.... Bully, Crannie, Roberts... great days out....

Kinda fishing if I'm honest. Mostly rhetorical, like, obviously it is still massive (people here wouldn't want it/want to avoid it so much if it weren't), but should it be?

I dunno, it'll never mean the same to me as it does to y'all. And that's totally fine!

Yeah Yankee..... (y)

As you will see from this thread and across social media, it's a colossal rivalry - and is probably even bigger as we haven't played them for so long. The intense hatred just increases over time, as pathetic as it is.
Crazy really... used to work in Dudley, Cradley, Halesowen and it was always some great banter leading up to the game... then game day came and workmates would have gladly maimed each other.... and then back to work on Monday and it was usually great for Wolves fans as we used to come out on top more often than not... and that despite us being largely shit at the time.

Yeah but it aint the 1980's 90's any more is it? We've barely played them since the mid 2000s and when we have we've inevitably lost. Its a fixture lauded over by a load of people in their late 40's to 50's trying to relive a youth long since past when rivalries like this actually meant something.

Pity it is not standing like it was for the match when Bully scored that last minute winner. Epic celebrations and loads of us in there.
Only 1st team match I've attended at the ground and as ecstatic as I was, I had to sit on my hands in there end :(

Another defeatist... this is a chance to avenge the FA Cup defeat when they had the South Bank ... not to mention that other bloody awful game at Mol.
