Brentford 3 - Wolves 0 - a black armband verdict thread

Positive - We conceded less than we did last season.

Beat me to it.

I thought you did brilliantly for two seasons Kenny, but I'm afraid it's all gone pear shaped. Injuries, players wanting to move on and the club up for sale can't be pinned on you but the current form/style is appalling so it's time to get your coat.

Just shows how wrong the "result is all that matters" comments were over Xmas. Jackett should have gone ages ago. If he stays for the rest of the season we'll finish one place above relegation.
What will it cost to pay him off? 400k? The club will lose that in gate receipts, catering, season tickets if he stays. Has to be sacked in the morning, if not tonight.

My worry as I said last week is who we would get at this stage of the season given our current position? We won't get Pearson, Rowett or Edinburgh now, but may have more chance in the Summer. By all means sack him, but I'd rather shove Rob Edwards in for a couple of months than appoint a Cotterill, just because he is available

Agreed with both parts of that. Pearson might be a good manager, but he's a $#@!.

I'd rather have a shit who gets results than a "nice guy" who can't

If Frank's turning it must be bad (it is)

Not really a case of turning, I said after the Preston game that maybe a change was needed. But it is pointless getting rid of KJ if Moxey and Thelwell are allowed to continue destroying the club.

I wanted Kenny to go ages ago, not just because the football was shit but to avoid scenes like tonight. I hope he resigns for his own sake so we can look back on the good work he did before this season.

Presumably, Frank, a manager with a pair of balls and some talent would a) take Moxey into a quiet room and tell him exactly what was what and b) demand Thelwell's sacking.
