Boxing thread

Haye is a class operator. I think he's the best boxer out of the three.
I also want Joshua to fight someone who moves. Each opponent has been very easy to hit

I would agree with you on that, but I just don't think of Haye as being a heavy weight, I know he moved up to it but he was always a Cruiserweight fighting a weight above for me.

AJ is a genuine prospect at Heavy weight and I think he has potential to deal with Haye and Fury. Two very different styles he will face in both of them but I think he'll have too much power for Haye and too much guile for Fury

Haye has put a stone of pure muscle on, so I don't worry as much as I once did about his size.

I know what you mean though, at first he was a blown up cruiser and nothing else!

Fury to me got lucky and Father Time caught up with Klitscko too. He's nothing special IMO.

Joshua could be brilliant, but I wouldn't want him in with wilder and co yet

I agree with all of that. Fury dropped lucky and also standing his ground with the ring being too soft. He caught out Klitscko's game and he gained back the advantage on that fight.

AJ still needs some development but it will be hard to restrain his obvious desire and ability with his rise in prominence.

Looking good Tyson.

History will end up judging him in the same league as world champions such as John Ruiz and Oliver McCall.

If he's telling the truth and i have no reason not to believe him then he won't care.

He's a better boxer than that, but has no real challengers currently. I'll be backing Klit in the rematch as even if he has gone, Fury is still chinny, as Cruiserweights have floored him!!

Haye needs better tune ups and Joshua needs to fight a challenger not a prospect.

He's definitely better than both of those. Apart from a lucky shot from McCall vs Lewis neither beat anyone in Klitschko's league.

Fury is always going to blow up in weight between fights.

Says he's retiring after the Klitschko fight. I think he knows AJ would flatten him.

I think he knows it. He said 6 years ago he sparred him and he nearly flattened Tyson then.

If Fury is focused he'll beat him again. Deservedly won last time and didn't really break sweat. Not sure about the retirement stuff - he contradicts himself all the time. Tbf to him though he did always say all he wanted to do was beat the best in his backyard and he did. Nothing to motivate him now.

Barossa tiring. Tried to blow him away and now he's struggling

Thank you and good night! Drop your guard for one second against a bomber puncher and......

Shannon Briggs looks pretty mean and sharp for a 44-year old.

Pointless taking a fight like that. He doesn't have years left at the top, if he wants a shot at Fury (which the fat man says won't happen, but we'll see) or AJ then he has to be fighting proper opponents now, not tin cans.

I agree with all that. He could've fought that bum tomorrow and every day for the next week and not broken sweat. Pathetic and I hope both Fury and Joshua make him fight somebody decent before they even contemplate a fight with Haye.
