Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

I've been on unauthorized work nights out, sometimes purposely on works time so we could claim lodge to get a free hotel room too. No way our boss would've done such things but it'll happen on pretty much every project the company runs at some point. You just don't crow about it too loudly and hope no-one with an axe to grind catches wind of it.
Have you ever done that in your company HQ? If not, why not?

We've had drinks in cabins on site before, head office has never geographically been even worthy of even considering for such an event. Wouldn't have been difficult to arrange for 15-20 people to work late one day and do whatever you want there though, pretty much everyone would be gone by 6, cleaners done half an hour after that.

Not sure there'd be much interest in having in a party in a poorly maintained office building in the middle of nowhere that just have looked 10 years out of date before it was even finished though.

So what you are saying is, you are comparing apples and pears.

Well the initial point was along the lines of staff only doing what their bosses would allow, which is clearly bullshit. It's since been made more specific to a degree that's it's impossible to draw a direct comparison unless you're working in a government office during a global pandemic.

You'd have to have a particularly brassy neck to have a party in your HQ when your boss has been on telly telling everyone not to do such things. It looks like you're taking the piss, especially when you get someone in to do the catering for you.

The much more likely scenario, to me anyway, is that these effectively junior people are going with the flow of what's acceptable in that particular culture.

Can’t follow it properly today. Any telling blows landed on the scarecrow lampooning being prime minister?

Awful even by Johnson's own seabed standards.

Roaring nonsensical slogans and harking back to lies he told months ago. He's got nothing.

The best bit when Starmer openly laughed at Johnson saying it "wasn't true" that last night's vote would not have gone through without Labour votes. It was a 100+ Tory rebellion you idiot, do you realise what your own majority is?

Hint: It is less than 100.

Apart from proving he's a total dipstick with numbers no.

Said that 45% of over 18s have now had the vaccine.
Claimed that he he would have won the vote last night regardless of labour votes.

Oh yeah, he also reckons 1,200,000 job vacancies is a good thing. No, that's a labour and/or skills shortage. These are bad.

More than once fired out the drivel that we have the fastest growing economy in the G7. Er...

Such a cunt, same goes for all the rest of them behind - investing massively in overseas aid after cutting the budget massively.

He can't be called out for lying on it as he compares our 2021 figures with last year and on that comparison he is/was correct. What he never says is that our dip was so much worse than the rest of the G7 and like your graphic shows above, the comparison to pre covid levels has the UK at the bottom of the table.

There's being a dodgy bastard unfit for office such as Owen Paterson, and being a pathetic, wheedling, unsuccessful at being a dodgy bastard unfit for office such as Daniel Kawczynski.

Not sure what Shropshire has done to deserve that pair AND Lucy Allan.
