Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

Disgraceful as it is Sunak and Priti Vacant have the wrong skin tone for a chunk of Conservatives. Raab is horribly damaged by the Afghan withdrawal. Truss is thick as pigshit and everyone knows she has fucked her way to the top.

John Redwood, in a spectacular mis-read of the room, appears to be blaming this on Sunaks economic policies.

I'm no Clooney myself but how the hell has Truss managed to do that?

Gove...?

Tory members hate Gove, Tory MPs hate Gove, the public hate Gove. All with good cause, he's a cunt.

Hunt is the best they can do as they purged anyone any good in 2019. Ruth Davidson and Rory Stewart would have won them the next election.

This was always going to happen under Johnson as he's a criminally lazy sham of a man. He thought this would all be one long jolly. I have yet to meet a single person who finds him amusing, and apparently that's his selling point.

Unsurprisingly all Dowden has is got Brexit done and but Labour

When the going gets tough, send out Martin from Game On.

"Getting Brexit Done" is wearing very thin as the effects are actually starting to show (high inflation, high cost of living, actual real life impacts in terms of imports/travel etc)

So he's done isn't he surely? Trouble is the others are even worse. He's a sociopathic ideological void who just wants to be there but people like Raab and Patel have very unpleasant agendas. Or Truss. Or Sunak. Part of me wants him to wobble on to 2024 when he hopefully leads them to defeat.
What a great bit of news to wake up to. He's been done for a while. They'll keep him in post until Covid subsides in the hope they can make the inevitable torrent of shit that's going to emerge stick to him, and then present the new leader as a fresh start.

The hard bit will be finding someone who is electable that isn't also tainted by it all. A few people have said Sunak isn't in with a chance because of his race but I'm really not so sure.

Nope, no-one is shitter than Johnson, hands down one of the worst politicians ever.

"He wins elections" is like "Matt Hill wins games". He's been conveniently in the right place at the right time, nothing more. He has absolutely no redeeming characteristics.

I wonder how Sir Graham Brady’s inbox is this morning. It was very telling that earlier in the week the 1922 committee said letters could be sent by email with a follow up phone call rather than in person as parliament has risen.

Sunak will get it, and he'll win the next election. It'll all be about the economic recovery post covid/brexit, and Labour caused the financial crisis blah blah blah. Covid deaths will be forgotten about by then, or even defended as an inevitability that nobody could influence

I'd rather have Gove, about the only one who takes Covid seriously.
