Think the Miners much later rather unfairly copped the vitriol on behalf of the other nationalised industries that were propped up by the taxpayer. "Carry on at your convenience" beautifully sums up the feeling towards Trades Unions prior to the Miners strike. Charles Hawtrey played a blinder.
