Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

Haulage companies only applied for nine people to join a UK Government scheme designed to boost the number of fuel tanker drivers, Byline Times can reveal. The Government launched the scheme in early October, amid a shortage of fuel in the UK, encouraging 300 EU drivers without a visa to enter the country. However, a recent written parliamentary question shows that only nine applications were made under the scheme, just 3% of the total.

During the debate, Jacob Rees-Mogg was asked by Labour's Stephen Timms how the government could have stood by the "brazen wrongdoing" of Mr Paterson.
The Commons leader pointed to the death of his colleague's wife Rose, who took her own life in 2020, saying: "It was the tragedy inflicted on Mr Paterson that coloured and clouded my judgement incorrectly.
"It is as simple and sad as that."

Using the suicide of someone who wasn't an MP to defend that nonsense (and as if you didn't know pre-2020 what Paterson was all about, I did, so you did).

Fuck off you human pencil.

And now a massive u turn as Fat Alex sends a letter to the speaker wanting much of MPs second jobs restricted. I’m sure it was just coincidence that the letter was released just as Starmer was giving a speech on the matter.

I assume occasional newspaper columns won’t be included in the restrictions. He has really pissed off his own MPs here. I sense rebellion in the air.

Andrew Rosindell: "People on Universal Credit don't need the extra £20 a week, they just like having it"

Andrew Rosindell: "You can't stop MPs on £82,000 a year having second jobs, they have a lifestyle and a family"

Scumbag. 64% of the vote last time too. In fucking Romford of all places.

He's a dead man walking.

The odds of him leaving next year have fell through the floor in the last week.

There's no way he can survive killing his own MP's earning power after he made £1.6m from outside sources as an MP. It's just a matter of when not if now. A crisis totally of his own making.

About time Hoyle grew some balls
I've just watched it back. Johnson should have been forced to apologise the accusing Kier Starmer of misconduct. PMQ's should have stopped until he did. If we wouldn't he should have been kicked out of the session.

Edit - The clown that he is used the made up word mishconduct not misconduct.

That’s because Starmer did work for Mishcon de Reya. Big legal firm who were legal reps for the Princess of Wales.

Hoyle has clearly run out of patience with him so I hope to see similar episodes on a weekly basis.

They also represented Gina Miller, as a result Starmer declined to carry out future work back in 2017 because of his role in the LP's Brexit 'strategy'.

1210 - Fat Alex “we will release all the documents relating to the award of contracts to Randox”

1430 - the minutes of a vital phone call relating to Randox appear to have been mislaid.

The Mail's editor who has become increasingly critical of Johnson has been bulleted and replaced by the MoS's pro one

Censor state. Not that I do anything but despise the Mail. But the last few days it’s front pages have been ace.

Just checked the Mail website (ugh) and there is still a lot of critical stuff but it much lower down the home page.

More 'broken promises' for HS2 and The NPH.
I'll be interested to see the response from the leader of the Northern Research Group who raised a question in PMQs yesterday regarding the manifesto promises.

On a separate issue the Social care plans released yesterday show that the Government Plan, which we are going to pay extra NI for, will effectively be a tax on the working population to prevent (property) rich homeowners in the South from losing their assets.

Absolutely spot on - the average person who doesn't live in the south east will still lose most of their equity if they are unfortunate enough to have to go into a care home. It'll deepen inequality terribly and the north south divide will just keep growing and growing. It's disgusting normal people are going to be funding millionaires keeping their homes, the media hasn't made anything of it of it, wonder why that is.
