Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

That strategy worked for Johnson. He’s never been able to keep his pants up and now he’s shafted all of us.

Popbitch reporting that while all this MPs second jobs thing is taking up space in the media, "a political figure has being catching up with Boris , and sowing the seeds for a third political family"
Popbitch has a pretty good hit rate on gossip about the stars, so we'll have to wait and see.
They also reckon the daily mail is sticking the boot into the Tories to screw over their previous editor Paul Dacre and his chances to be Ofcom boss

Its been revealed Natalie Elphicke who had a dig at Rushford saying he might have scored his penalty v Italy if he focused on his main job instead of feeding kids has herself a second job.

Phicke indeed.

Prat Hancock in talks over writing a book on an inside account of the Covid Crisis. There's not been an enquiry yet and this c**t is looking to make money out of it. He needs criminal charges brought against for lying to the nation and the corrupt behaviour he displayed whilst in office.

Keefs point was a good one re the popbitch story, seems a bit extreme though just to stop Dacre getting the ofcom job. Something more to it it seems.

The long game seems to be to fuck Boris off and get Sunak in, who's much more "fiscally responsible".

Heil on Sunday with massive attack on Rees-Mogg who used £6m in low interest loans from a Cayman Islands company of which he is a director to do up his house. These loans were taxable interests and should have been declared.

I really think this might be curtains for Johnson.

"Another former minister described him as “a publicity phenomenon, which is how he got the 80-seat majority”. Now that people had begun to see through the act, he suggested, that could be that.

“He’s squandering that,” the former minister added. “He looks dodgy. It’s like having a drift in the ceiling and you think, oh, I can live with that for a bit. And the whole fucking ceiling comes down and you think, I wish I’d dealt with that.

“Voters don’t seem to care, then suddenly, it all catches up with you. The troubles with the economy are going to mount up. Levelling up is a slogan and not a policy. Global Britain is a slogan and not a policy. He just looks shallow.”

The Tory MP's with second jobs won't forgive him for shining a light on it all for the sake of protecting his mate. It's going to hit them in the pocket massively. He's totally fucked himself over.

The Mail has absolutely turned. If the others follow he is done.
Do you not see this as part of the problem with UK politics? What you're saying, and I think it certainly has truth to it, is that the media basically is the arbiter of who wins politically. And when the UK media is overwhelmingly loaded behind a certain political ideology then our government and our elections will never truly be fair or democratic. How can a few self interested, corrupt, lying toerags be allowed to hold so much sway over the political decision making process? We don't live in a democracy, do we, if that's the case, which I do think is dangerously close to true.

The Owen Paterson farce rolls on as rather than the ban and reversal of the vote from a couple of weeks getting nodded through, some Tory wag shouted “object” so it was thrown out.
