I didn’t really consider the laughing bit tbf. More just that it is a strange transfer from the outside. I’m still there myself, just seems a waste of talent. The only thing that would make it make sense is if there is a move to an elite club already planned after a year.

The best thing is when he and Gray left the coverage improved Ed Chamberlain etc proved to be a far better anchor for live coverage, Gary Neville, Carragher far more knowledgeable as co-comms and analysts on MNF.
