Beer

Just been up to the brewery to get a case of these in! Happy days!

£21.50 for £12 beers will do me. Tempted to get a mini cask though

Just had a pint or two of Ruddles County and I am pleased to report that the Ruddles kick is still there

Ruddles is average. There's plenty of much better ales around these days.

Definitely. It's frustrating being in the supermarket when it's full of bland tasteless ales when there are so many better ales on the market

No worries Frank. Your good health. TBF going back a few years now, Ruddles was a welcome oasis in a desperate desert of bland keg alternatives that the major breweries were churning out.

My Christmas supply is almost complete, just a collection to make from Enville Ales tomorrow and I'm all sorted.

Not drinking so much these days so the emphasis is mostly on quality (and freebies).

Karmelite Triple and Westmalle Dubbel with fruit beers by Liefman & Bacchus :)

A few ales in ready for Christmas Day/ Boxing Day.... ( plus some already sampled )

Brother brought me some Dark Star: American Pale Ale for Christmas. Absolutely wonderful stuff - in my top 5.

Is there any way in which I can ignore this thread during January?

I would certainly recommend Cooper's Pale Ale if you guys ever visit Australia. :)

Never had Cooper's when I've been to Oz. Which State is that from?
