Can't stick that Hop House 13, bordering on false advertising.

Full bodied with smooth carbonation for a lovely mouthfeel. There's a little smokiness, which I don't usually like (as has been discussed!), but the roasted coffee pairs well and the late cherry balances things out with sweetness and a slight tart finish. Really well balanced and complex beer.

Apparently, there's a Fixed Wheel tap takeover in the Lych Gate tonight.

Elvis juice and a French subtle soft blue cheese. Excellent combination.

Think I'd rather have fucking sausages.

Whatever happened to beer tasting of, well, just beer ffs.
Beer always tastes like beer...you just have a have a lot of variations these days. Bit like sausages I guess.

Beer Hawk have got some top shit in, might order from them this week if I can't get over Compton.

When in October....

Pretty nice amber lager. A little bit toasty, sweet with a nice citrussy floral tang on the finish.

Currently enjoying one of these.

Edit: not sure why it's uploaded sideways.

Thornbridge Halcyon. They're so reliably brilliant. Cracking IPA. Bags of grapefruit bitterness and tropical fruit. Perfect with a spicy meaty pizza.

Stunning beer. Pours like pure juice, but still has a piney sharp hop bite on top of all the mango, pineapple and tropical fruit juice flavours.

Yep and better balanced (less sweet) than the original batch. There again if you are using Heathen as your base brew it should be awesome.
