Lagunitas IPA in the Euston Tao again, probably my favourite IPA - lovely drink.

Do you lot get much Lagunitas over there? Try Maximus if you can; really juicy triple IPA.

You can get it in specialist pubs and bottle shops. They’ve got the standard iPA and Born Again Yesterday on Tap here, tempted by a pint on the born again, but it’s 7%!

Sod it, had a pint of Lagunitas Born Again Yesterday and it’s magnificent .

Pretty much everything they put out is top drawer. Up there with the likes of Bell's and Founders in terms of consistency across styles.

Popped in the Tiny Rebel Bar in Cardiff yesterday.

Couple of things let it down a bit though - Ordered a pint (think it was called Sympathy for the Devil or something like that) and the barman trudged off...came back nearly a minute later to tell us they didn't have it. So new drink ordered, same process...update your board you tits!!
3rd time lucky after going for the Cwtch, think I had read about that on here or heard one you lot talking about on a matchday. Top pint and more importantly I didn't have get a mortgage to pay for it (£3.20 for the pint...a bargain) Shame I was driving back as I would liked to find out what else they no longer had even though it was displayed..(oh and the decor is a bit hipster innit)

Shame about the shit service. Tiny Rebel are a top brewery, and as you say, pretty reasonably priced. £2 for cans of Clwb Tropicana in Cotteridge Wines is ludicrous value!

I've been in the Tiny Rebel bar twice and both times the service has been superb. Chatty bar folk, knowledgeable when you ask them about their beers, very friendly and prompt too. And the boards were swiftly updated. Maybe you were just unlucky!

The decor is fine IMO - I like the Tiny Rebel logo made out of bottle tops. It's miles better than the oppressive Brew Dog decor.

Did you see the very cool retro arcade machine? Thrashed my mate on Streetfighter 2. I did warn him I still remember all the moves....

Annoying rather than shit. The barman was just slow (I did ask him what was similar to the Devil drink but he just looked at me and then turned round) but every place I went in Cardiff yesterday the shop staff were all like that (must be a Welsh thing). The board thing should be sorted though. Its on a TV screen so either turn it off or just pop sold out on the text or delete it.

No doubt I was unlucky. About 4 or 5 staff on and all the women are talking away, telling folk about the beers etc and I basically got the guy from Hot Fuzz who can only say yarp! Wasn't a fan of the old skool wooden stools and I was sat next to the Pac Man arcade machine.

Next time you go, there's a quality bar not too far away from the TR (walk back towards the city centre a bit) called SmallBar. Well worth a visit. Though I'm pretty sure they had wooden stools too #takeacushion

Fucking hell - what are the chances? :icon_lol:

Not been to either yet which is quite shocking really. Have heard good things about both though, with Small Bar getting a lot praise lately. I understand they have a good take-out selection too.

:icon_lol: Clearly I am tuning into the same wavelength as you lot....#scareythought

Just for the record - The wooden stools don't bother me....just prefer a seat (old man, bad back etc) but it won't stop me returning, neither will Yarp Boyo. Actually jealous of where he is now living. Within 5 mins of my house I have a couple of shit pubs he has a whole city centre full of cracking places.
