Had my first taste of my homebrew today while taking Final gravity readings. Absolutely thrilled with the result!

It's a pale ale so very caramel coloured at the moment before bottle maturation, but the taste was lovely. Bitter, slightly hoppy, almost cheesy and rich, but already full bodied. I only sampled about 50ml but the aftertaste was lovely.

Really happy with that. Will be bottling tomorrow.

Butcombe brewing co, golden ale.

And three bottles of Anchor Steam beer for those sunny evenings.
