Thanks Kenny.

This weekends selection. Finish my steriods and antibiotics by Sun so hope a couple are left for me by then !

Red Squirrel Brewery - British IPA 5%. Fucking immense.

Burning Sky Arise - Session IPA 4.4% -
Good

Headlands Hill 88 - Double IPA 8.8% - Also immense

Always surprises me how much they love Newcastle Brown Ale over there. Especially further inland.

Only people I know who drink Newcastle have only ever had American adjuncts otherwise.

That is a GREAT selection of beers. Very jealous.

We have a neighbour who we do swaps with. It works out well :) .The Newcastle Brown will be used to do a Beer Chicken with.

Cup final beers:

It was a choice between Tribute and Spitfire for the last one, not hugely fussed about either so went with the Tribute. The other 3 are very nice though.

Tribute wins over Spitfire for me. Spitfire really doesn't do anything for me. Not a lot of the Shepherd Neame beers do, actually.

Agree with Machin. Tribute is a pleasant pint.

Indeed. Loved their advertising campaign a year or two ago but it's a very plain beer. A rare victory for a Cornish ale!

I've also just found a bottle of Pale Rider in the kitchen - result!!!

I'm not a fan of the Pale Rider for some reason. Never got on with it.

Couple of pints of Abbeydale Moonshine tonight. Can never go wrong with that.

My favourite beer at the moment but can only get it when I visit my son in Sheffield! Could do with them doing bottles!

SO, I've given Shepherd Neame another chance, as they've got a few cheapo bottles in Lidl. 4-4-2 and an IPA for 99p each.

Not holding out much hope at 3.8% each....
