Beer

Hoppy beer can be very bitter too, so don't let that word put you off.

I'm no fan at the opposite end of the spectrum either to be fair, Stouts are certainly not my bag, so i guess i'm shopping in the middle ground from now on.

Try a mild or a dark ale, but stop short of going for a Stout then. If unsure, you can always sample what is there first.

Sadlers also do some nice dark ales. You can get a lot of those in certain supermarkets.

Banks's Bitter? :icon_wink:

Maybe join James for a Bud with Lime?

They also do one called Citra. Which was also on the bar, coincidentally!

Citra is quite a common name for an ale.

Citra is a strain of hops I think.

M&S actually do a really good range of 'single hopped' bottled beers which are good for people just getting into real ales, helps you try and identify all different types of hop in your beer if you're sad like I am. Just off the top of my head they do Citra, Mosaic, Fuggles, Sovereign, Amarillo and Cascade.

That's a brilliant little idea.

M&S though, so probably £3.50 a bottle

Was it not the Zelig song?
