There was an old Brummie woman on WM tonight who said she didn't like football or know who Bruce was or what he looked like having a go at the fans for giving Bruce a hard time. She warned them to leave him alone and asked how they would feel if they caused him to have a stroke(!)

The United game wasn't great so flicking through the Champ games at HT, saw Villa had gone down to 10 men and it was back to 2-1 so left that on. I'm not even exaggerating here, from that point (about 55 minutes) to when PNE went 3-2 up, Villa must have had about 10% possession. No attempt to keep the ball at all. No tactics. Just sit deep and thump it clear. He even took both strikers off along the way and Hourihane who if nothing else might get you a goal from a set piece.

Would have been an absolute travesty if they'd won, they were lucky as it was to get a point as PNE had so many chances and so much pressure. Dreadful management.

By the way that's 0 goals and 1 assist for Grealish all season in the league. Now it's not for me to say that he might have been a *bit* overrated last season, but I think we can now conclusively end WM's debate of "who is better, Neves or Grealish".

Yeah I turned it on for some entertainment when went to 2-1. They were literally all over them. Like they were down to 10 against City at the Etihad in injury time. Grealish just minced around the pitch doing nothing, should have taken him off when they went to 10, he’s a luxury and not actually that good. Didn’t work hard, didn’t keep the ball, didn’t defend.

No chance they get £20m+ for him now. You can’t basically play a free role and have a worse output than Dave Edwards in a team full of expensive players.

Why isn’t he taking the penalty too? You’d think billy big bollocks with all this ability would be grabbing the ball straight away! You’d say McGinn would be a good shout for one too! Nah, Glenn Whelan
