i'm extremely disappointed at that defence but I'm not surprised. Lambert talks about not being sentimental but it's straight back to Stears and Batth and Iorfa plays well and gets dumped too. Goes on about Bright playing well and chucks him back on the bench too. At least Cav is back but big questions to be asked if we have another calamity show of defending

We were solid against Sheff Wed so that can be the only reason for that defensive selection IMO. I think it's a mistake now we have better options but I suppose we will have to wait for Batth to cock up again, I suspect it won't be long!!

Batth took the ball down really well there then dallied on it and for me tripped Agbonlahore who tried to nip in. Doherty with a dicey backpass to Ikeme he had to hurriedly boot out.

I'm really trying not to pick on Batth but so far he has been robbed outside his own box, missed an easy interception and whacked a shitty long pass straight out of play.
