Hate to resurrect this thread. An Army veteran has killed at least 5 people in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He legally checked his pistol and ammunition (in separate locked hard-shell containers, per law) before opening fire in a baggage claim.

Isn't it at least a mass shooting a day by now? We hear about the big ones but rarely about the smaller "family disputes" etc. that only leave a handful of people shot - still boils down to the same thing though.

One of the first replies to the tweet was from one of his congregation asking if they would allow him to carry a concealed handgun at future services as it would make him feel a lot safer.
