2018 - 19 Season tickets

That idea would probably suit me best Peter, as i'd only be getting over for about 3 games in the season. My choice wouldn't be the opposition, but when the cheapest flights were.

Presume that you mean the latter suggestion Mick - would need a couple of others (at the appropriate age) to join in then it would be doable (though depends on what the S/T price is really)

Can go to 'under age' people as long as you accept the risk of non entry if checked (which I have never seen happen) - reckon that a ticket transference scheme can be sorted through others on here who are in the area & would be happy to finance up front if I am going to be able to recoup some of the cost on games I can't do. Last years S/T would have cost approx £8.50 per match if I had been at all against £15.00 for an individual match ticket (though with 10% back in ticket cash).

Need to see what they want for next season before going any further

I expect matchday tickets to go up £5 in all stands based on that then.

If true people will pay it, but that would be about £23 a game behind the goal and more than the current 3 Midlands sides are charging this year

That's what it works out to and that seems a lot to me. The individual match tickets might well go up 25-50% on those prices. Seems a lot to me.

A quick glance on Twitter shows the price increase has been met with a mainly positive reaction.

Well done Wolves on the phone number change. About time too.

Fucking hell, tripled the price of my kids season tickets :(

This was always going to happen.

No matter the wealth of the owners or increase in commercial/broadcasting income, we were always going to have to increase the matchday revenue to keep up with Fosun's ambitions. We're going to spend a small fortune over the next few transfer windows, this helps to fund it.

True. 30% increase is fine, 300% for juniors when you have an aging fanbase is not.

The press release is on the site now

This bit is fairly interesting

New for the 2018/19 season, any season ticket holder that cannot attend a fixture will now have the ability to resell their seat officially through a club buy back scheme.

This transaction will earn the seller ‘Wolves Cash’, which can then be spent on merchandise at the Megastore, match tickets or even future season ticket renewal.

Supporters can also earn Wolves Cash by spending in store, on Wolves official travel or tickets for the museum. There are Wolves Cash bonuses for long serving season ticket holders, with more information on the scheme to be released in due course.

Not that I could afford tickets anyway, but the price rises are a bit disappointing. That's the price we pay for success though I suppose.

Does it help that much?

I’m pretty disappointed. I wouldn’t be getting a season ticket due to my own circumstances but I definitely couldn’t afford one even if I wanted.

Very aware other people happy to pay that, what with the clubs ambition.

Are they on sale now? At work at the mo so cant get on the OS.

I wonder how many will be left for new season tickets (or returning after a long sabbatical).
