2018 - 19 Season tickets

I know wolves having cranked cantilever stands on the sides was a big thing in one day, but the photos above show how much of a stupid idea they are - so much wasted space and distance from the pitch, just for the sake of people not turning their heads a bit more.

Sun in your eyes is a good point during winter and the stand is a bit newer, can't help but think that paying £75/£100 more than the other 3 stands for BW upper is just snobbery :confused-smiley-013

Under Lambert and Jackett he said it 1000x per game and I was felt like I was going to have to explain why moving over is a load of bollocks unless your are an U12’s team.

I didn't have a ST in 2013/14 but I may as well have done as I missed one home game all season. Because it was real fans* only then I was able to buy pretty much the same seat every week. If it was 0-0 after 15-20 minutes, the geezer a few seats across would continually bemoan us "only playing one up front". This when we were winning pretty much every game and really easily too, plus Sako-Edwards-Jacobs-Dicko was more like four up front as none of them had to do any defending in L1.

*Jokes, lol

I sit in the top row of the BW lower, it is a *lot* nicer in there in than the SB. Not that I pay BW upper prices, but £75 isn't that much money for a better seat, toilets, drinks etc over 22 games.

There's a guy at Stourbridge who shouts "ON HIM!!" roughly every 30 seconds. He also has the loudest voice I have ever heard. It doesn't matter what has happened, where on the pitch the ball is, how far away a Stourbridge player is - it's the same result. "ON HIM!!"

Guess this is what I'm looking for really. Didn't realise there was so much difference between the 2 side stands tbh.

I had a season ticket in the Steve Bull for 10 years and it was fine, but it is a lot nicer in the BW, plus you don't have to listen to the away fans all the time. That said I've only been in the BW upper a few times and it is oddly passive. Most of us in the lower are there because of kids so at least there is a bit of an atmosphere.

I spent 10 years as a season ticket holder in the Steve Bull but that was only because my brother and my Aunt already had a season ticket in that stand. I had 3 different seats in that time and it was only with the first seat that I was subjected to some absolute belmers being near me. By the time I got a seat next to my brother it was right on the half way line so I had a great view. Most of the people that sit there are old codgers who have been there years who don't complain a lot (apart from the old guy who shouted GET IT OVER every time we had the ball on the wing).

I'm not a fan of the South Bank (clearly I'm not a proper fan :)) and I've only ever sat in the BW for cup games when the Steve Bull was closed and only sat in the NB once for Jody Craddock's testimonial. If I was fortunate enough to be able to get a season ticket again my preference would definitely be in the NB upper now. The views look pretty good tbf.

I like the SBU, had a ST in there from 1995 to 2010 and since have always bought my tickets in the same area (J6) and this season have had my ST there again. BUT the legroom is shit, the concourse area very outdated, crap to get in and out, the toilet is a bottleneck with small doorways and can't see the scoreboard

The SBU is rank compared to the BWU. Cramped, outdated, zero leg room, miles from the pitch.

I stand in the same row as the wannabe ultras in the South Bank so I've got you all beaten for arsehole fans.

Those WV1 weirdos?

Unlucky, might be an opportunity to move shortly.

There's a couple of lads within earshot of me who've only just come to my attention (maybe they've just been released) The pent up anger they have within them is unbelievable. On Saturday when everyone was having a bit of banter with Tango they were foaming at the mouth genuinely wanting to do him harm. It doesn't help that one of them has a set of teeth like a row of bombed houses.

My mates want to sit in SB so they can smoke - facepalm

If they can't last a maximum 2 hours without a fag I worry for them

You can go outside - with them!

Tango is a great bloke has harmless as they come, loves to wind people up. He used to run the coaches we used to go on a few years back.

Does anyone actually enjoy being wound up??
