I should have added it only takes one hitch at this stage for this scenario not to pan out or be put back until January. As is the way with transfer chains.
Only my opinion but I do think Johnstone would be a better fit for us moving forward.
I feel like Alex Neil is losing the plot there, too many new signings, can’t figure out his best team. Four half time subs yesterday said a lot.
Hope Chiquinho comes back now.
I asked last night and Sa is apparently keen to go to Forest (owner knows him well and vice versa)
Johnstone would jump at a move here knowing Cutler well and being back in the area and further north. Apparently this is why Palace have signed Henderson as these moves have been lined up.
Not sure if there’s an actual clause in Nunes’ contract or just an agreement when he signed last year but although out of the blue, this doesn’t feel a surprise at all.
More than likely waiting for suitable offers to move on Podence, Jimenez and maybe Silva (depending how the next few days go between him and the manager)
Incomings could also be waiting on the selling club being ready to let players go. I know for a fact we’re interested in Amad but they’ve just...
We sign another two forwards minimum, one wider/creative and one striker. Three if Fabio goes.
Who’s knows Hwang and Neto may both stay if we don’t get good enough offers.
Podence is going. I did say one of Neto or Hwang. Plus we’re after another wide player who can come inside and create/score. Scott is also being lined up to play a similar role from a bit deeper that RAN has been used in.
JL has been coaching a narrow 442/433 very fluid formation with the full...
Just my personal opinion, I think Chiquinho may be loaned out for regular game time until January, and wouldn’t be surprised to see one of Hwang or Neto to move on too.
