Made an expected 14.3m loss for 2023-24 but still adhered with PSR rules

The full accounts are at the bottom of this link for any accountants out there. How we can lose the majority of our highest earners yet still have an increased wage bill I don't know.

Shi got paid £564k

The cost to get rid of Lopetegui would have been high. Doesn’t really answer your question though Tony as we are almost paying as much in wages for a far less competitive squad.

Isn’t that £20m under the £35m of owner financing limit or has that rule changed now?

What does this mean?

"contingent fees were crystallised for players including Diogo Jota, Morgan Gibbs-White, Willy Boly and Patrick Cutrone."

Presumably that revenue based on trigger points in their sale contracts is included in the accounts?

That's a couple of sentences that can really get to fuck. Look at difference in quality in the players we got rid of compared to the ones that came in. That's embarrassing

I've not fact checked this from the Athletic, but that's so seriously damning of this football club.

However, revenue has grown by just £5.2m since 2018-19, the club’s first season back in the Premier League, which represents a growth of just three per cent. Commercial income has grown by just £1m in that period.

We finished 7th that year. What is it £3m per place? The clowns in charge would sooner get £1m from supporters than sign a forward last January and finish 5 places higher. One more win would have made £9m, 4 points £12m, 6 points £15m.
£21m down on 2018/19 right there.

It's incredible!

Makes me think we must be missing something!?
