Such a shame the 33 are such a noisy bunch.
Without knowing the terms I don't think you can take any polling seriously. They aren't letting us rejoin on the preferential terms we left on, for example if entering the Euro is a condition that 66 tumblesSomething like 66/33 in favour of rejoining now.
Yeah. Although I'm not so sure how bothered they'd be about us accepting the Euro. We'd be morons to rejoin on those terms tbf.Without knowing the terms I don't think you can take any polling seriously. Lamont nearly crashed the economy trying to be in the ERM, so there'd be panic about that as you'd need some harmonisation period where you peg the currencies. Then there's the general optics of losing sovereignty. I genuinely think you'd see that 66-33 flip the other wayWhat’s up with the euro?
If your central bank creates your own currency you can pretty much do what you want. Once you give that up, you're all kinds of fucked. What’s up with the euro?
In a self sustainable economy sure.If your central bank creates your own currency you can pretty much do what you want. Once you give that up, you're all kinds of fucked.
Thing is if you're even considering voting Green then there's absolutely zero chance you're considering voting Reform, so Farage opinions are nether here or there.I'm not sure that's a great move tbh. It just fuels Reforms narrative that Greens care more about the immigrant vote than they do the indigenous vote, and actually backs up Farage's messaging about lack of integration and English language skills etc.

You're never going to sway a Reform or Tory voter to vote Green, it's just not happening.
Yeah rhe Greens will never persuade right wing nut jobs to vote for them but they do need to chase the swing voter who are likely to be centrists and might questiin stuff like this.Difficulty is, you’re giving rocket fuel to Reform. Trading any votes you might gain on the back of that against the 100% emboldenment of your enemy by handing them the perfect propaganda piece on a plate is a pretty stupid move imo.
The greens are clearly on the move but I think they’ll come undone by not being able to see the woods for the trees and playing the game cutely enough.
Depends what your goals are. If they are short term to win in Gorton and that gets you another 500 votes for the sake of argument and that tips you over the edge then it's worthwhile.I'm not sure that's a great move tbh.
