Wolves v Millwall - "It's the hope that kills you" Build Up Thread

Reading are in full on classic "on the beach" mode. Derby will get 3 or 4.

Brentford v Wigan depends on tonight....if Rotherham win or draw then Wigan go bye bye and they could be joining Reading on the early holiday

Unless we go goal crazy and Ipswich lose but that seems highly unlikely.

Reading have won one league game since mid-February, I just can't see it. Derby are bad at the moment and if we had another three games we'd catch them with a bit to spare, but we don't.

Didn't realize that. Carry on.

as there is really no pressure on us, let's just go out and finally put 5 or 6 past a poor team and see what happens.

Reaistically we blew it with Blues Bora and Ipswich in a week. The fact that we still have a chance is testament to this topsy turvey league. The problem is Rotherham. If they win tomorrow Wigan and Millwall have nothing to play for so on one hand thats great for our goal difference but on the other if relegated Wigan have feck all to play for but pride. Does this sound like a wolves fan smarting about that blues defeat? Sorry- still hurts those buggers cost us

I think Ipswich will play out a mundane draw at Blackburn and secure a play-off spot.
I don't envisage any drama's at all on Saturday.

what a great season its been though. I don't think I've ever been interested in Rotherham v Reading

Rotherham 2-0 up so Millwall will come to us down and demoralised. But it's highlighting how much Reading don't give a fuck.

Rotherham lead 2-0...Please hang on and goodbye Wigan!

Full time. 2-1 Rotherham.

Don't let the door hit you on the ass, Wigan.

Rotherham get the win they need - so nothing to play for by Milwall or Wigan now. Not sure that helps as they will have no tension as to the result & may well play with more freedom as a result.

Can see Wigan getting a point, but don't think it will make much difference as can see Ipswich & Derby doing just enough to make it academic whatever we do

It will probably all end with all 4 teams on 78 points. Thing is our goal difference will see us loose out

Can see Wigan absolutely capitulating against Brentford. They seem to have shown no pride in the shirt, or themselves, over the whole course of the season.

As for us, an awful 1-0 win, with the wind never in our sails.

Yeah, I think we'll miss out on GD. Oh well, as already mentioned, last time we missed out on the play-offs we won the league the next season so.......

Welcome to the Forum btw!

Lee Gregory at Millwall is confident

Evans responds...

"A Millwall player said we've not got bottle. I've got 12 bottles of pink finest Champagne and we'll be drinking them for about a week.

"Look forward to League One, son, and keep your trap shut."

Didn't see you'd posted that in here before my comment on the other thread.
