That's the best home shirt in the last 20 years IMO. Simple, clean, good collar, good trims, good sponsor too - the WW suited us obviously. Wouldn't have minded sticking with them as a sponsor

Yeah, to clarify I wasn't slating the W88 kit, it's good (except the colour, but we seem to be stuck with that). The point is if this year's is being criticised for being 'generic' then that one was too.

The two Adidas kits were wildly different colours. I don’t think last years was yellow like the w88 one was and I’m assuming this years is the same colour as last years.

I’m fine with that, it’s not yellow and it’s not orange. It does look “gold” and is a nice colour.

Nothing wrong with generic if the design is good. The Umbro shirts of the late 70s which everyone loves were generic but the design was classic so no problem. Castore do put some thought into kits though that may change as they take on more teams

Yeah, agreed. I shouldn’t have used the term “generic”. I should have said “boring”. I think our home shirts a bit boring. Each to their own, though. Nothing is beating the black Fosun sponsor away shirt I have from the Asia cup anyway!
