Wolves / Covid-19

When my son was told to isolate due to contact, he was told to not have a test unless he showed symptoms.

Same. Even the 3 people who live with my Dad were told the same - arrange test only if symptoms.

Hopefully she'll test negative and be OK.

I'm not sure how the law works with kids and schools Booz as I'm in the same boat as you as my middle lad has been sent home due to a contact testing positive. His school have just said stay away for 14 days.

I've had an employee with the text message from test and trace this week. If he ignores the message he could be fined between £1k and £10k and a £10k fine for the employer if they force somebody to come into work.

"If someone is instructed to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace, because they have had close contact with someone outside their household who has tested positive, they are legally required to self-isolate for the period notified by NHS Test and Trace. Both household and non-household contacts must self-isolate for the full period, regardless of whether they have symptoms and, if they develop symptoms and take a test, regardless of whether any test taken gives a negative result".

Same here, I have two at home isolating for 14 days from being in close contact (i.e. in a classroom) with others who tested positive.

I would think the "don't take a test, isolate for 14 days" spiel is slightly different for an elite athlete who has multiple tests a week and has already tested negative twice

when mrs jelly booked her test, the system advises you not to book unless you have symptoms, and expressly states you should not book a test because you are living with someone with symptoms.

Coming closer to home even out in the sticks as Lloyds Bank has closed due to positive tests - was in there on Monday, but no advice, but as they weren't logging who came in then I probably wouldn't have been.

A few South Koreans have tested positive but their game with Mexico is still going ahead for some reason. Fingers crossed for Raul!

Doesn't seem to for the Prime Minister

Out of curiosity, are all PL clubs allowed to have their fans allowed into matches irrespective of tiers ?

Nope. If you're Tier 3 then nothing.

No-one is in Tier 1 (not until Truro City get their act together) so it's 2k if you're Tier 2 and that's it.

Surely then, a number of clubs are getting an unfair advantage - should be Everyone of No-one

How have teams been allocating tickets to the home sections? Ballots, first come first served, only allowing from certain postcodes??

Arsenal in the Europa did first come first served from gold and silver members. Then for the Prem will do ballots.

Chelsea and Liverpool also doing ballots

Liverpool's ballot was 'fans from the Liverpool wider city area only' to stop people from tier 3 area's travelling in.

I read somewhere that they only had 6k applications, probably right grounds usually full of tourists these days.

No it has to start somewhere and I'm just glad its started.

If you class crwod or crowd size as an unfair advantage then do you suggest once grounds are up to full capacity we only let 22,000 in for our games against Burnley as thats all their ground holds, or should Man Utd only let in 32,000 for games against us as thats all our ground hold?

Using 5 subs again voted down again but we can now name 9 players on the bench. Great news for a couple of our U23's to be more involved
