Wolves / Covid-19

There were a couple more last night (Düsseldorf and Hoffenheim) so I think that bumps it up to five out of 27.

Has there been an issue with fans turning up outside German games?

No you'd have to just deduct points from that particular club. Over and over if necessary, getting worse for each repeat offence.

I hate any form of punishment which penalises the majority of decent fans for the actions of a minority of pricks

Nah, nothing.

Some supporters clubs have opened their bars for the games but all proper social distancing and protocols are in action.

Not as far as I am aware.

I think the previous events where that happened (PSG and Valencia?) was mainly down to people not getting what was going on. There were no lockdowns and death numbers were still low so it became a protest more than anything. I will be amazed if anything happens other than maybe people going to Anfield when they win the League

Just had a look at the table after a very long time. Its a tough one, villa win and the league get canned and they stay up.

I presume after the first midweek games they are playing the rest in the order they were originally scheduled, some start with West Ham away?

Sheff United win. We can eliminate their advantage by winning at Brammall Lane and we can also fuck Villa up by winning at their place.

Interesting one. Do we want Villa to lose and push them closer to the drop, or Blades to lose and that means if the league has to get halted again and they end up deciding on PPG, we finish 6th?

Obviously we would want City to beat Arsenal.

There's no bad result in that game. Every single result has a positive spin on it.

Still want villa to win though, I'd rather we do well than villa so poorly

I cannot see where they are going to fit qualifying rounds in for the Euro comps. Especially if we were required to be in them but were actually playing in the 2019 competition throughout August. I could see UEFA having to make special dispensation, especially as us or United could win the tournament and therefore be in the Champions League but qualifying would mean we had already started in the Europa. That would be ridiculous.

High profile games could still be played at neutral venues. Local derbies?

Joey E&S says West Ham is our first game so looks like it. Would be daft to redo the fixture list.

C'mon Villa, don't give a shit where they finish, I want us to finish as high as possible...6th minimum

The Times are reporting that Liverpool home games will be at neutral venues

I think it made sense for all games, but Brighton will miss their dressing room apparently
