Wolves are SOLD and Darlo finally has smooth thighs!

The more I think about it, the more I think we will get Gary Neville. No ITK, no real thought towards that, it is just something I feel fits, and might happen.

I wouldn't be too adverse to this. These types of former players trying to forge a management career could attract some good names i think.

Agreed completely Crossy. I said as soon as Lopetegui wasn't happening that maybe a Neville / Giggs thing could happen. Like I say, absolutely no ITK here, I can just see a fit.

Yes, in essence a blank canvass with the caveat of a first rate accademy already in place to utilise as well supplementing with big money first 11 players.

Interesting to see BBC Midlands Today sent someone down to the ground to cover it as their main story.

Whereas ITV Central News had a reporter basically read Fosun's Wikipedia page about four story's in.

No real surprise, Central news hates anything Wolverhampton.

The next manager will certainly be a big decision now Fosun's first choice has taken the Spain job, if that's the level of quality they're identifying then any potential candidate should be a bloody decent choice.

Fair play to Lopetegui though, one for agreeing to come here and two for taking the chance to manage his national side.

People* on Twitter still worried Jackett is going to be kept on......Omitted completly from statement by Fosun....he'll be given the boot tomorrow night when he gets off that plane.

*Idiots

Nah no mischief there for me. Just too many people trying to twist as many of his words as possible.

I'm perplexed just how many people have found negatives to today's news - I'm really looking forward to Monday when we'll no doubt hear a lot more as opposed to the general statements that have been released today.

I wasn't twisting his words, just looking at how it may be conceived. And I am as positive as I always am. Negativity is not for me.

Good times ahead for the good ship Wolverhampton I think.

We really do have some spoilt brats for supporters don't we? I simply cannot believe the number of people complaining at the 20-30 comment. It's almost like they just can't be happy. We've had a negative net spend in recent years for fuck sake.

That said, I'm absolutely over the moon with today's news. We've been floating around since September unable to put our foot down. Today the foot went down and felt solid ground underneath it. Tomorrow we stride forward. Bring it on!

I wasn't suggesting you were - sorry, I didn't word that too well. It was more a reaction to what I've seen on Twitter.

If there's one thing you can't be accused of, it's negativity!

He's just taken another job hasn't he?

Yes he's not at Espanyol

With Mendes and these Portuguese players then Andrei Villas Boas seems a very good fit, as he already has experience in England and is currently out of work

I'm assuming that presser was delayed until Monday so a new manager can be found

As AVB is currently not working it seems a sensible option to me

I'd take Moyes in a heartbeat. Knows the country/players, and is capable of taking us to the top half of the Premier League.

Isn't he Sunderland bound?

I'd take Moyes or Martinez - I think he'd do well here. But I dunno if we're in the market for that calibre of manager.
