Wolves Academy Thread

Finished 0-0. Probably not the greatest game I've ever seen though was a very young Wolves side against a Pompey team with a number of players in or around the first team. Defence was solid, Johnson looked decent. Ronan the stand out of the front 6 but we lacked any direct threat despite playing some decent stuff through the middle at times. Guess Bright and Ennis would have made a big difference to this team.

21 goals in six games then you turn up ;)

Thanks anyway. Johnson seems to be another who gets regular good reviews, probably some way to go before he's ready but plenty to work with.

Tell me about it, threw that statistic out to the bunch of Pompey fans I went with a couple of times pre-match, should have known it would cost me

U23's game at Telford tonight called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

No surprise, it is fucking horrible today

Mentioned in Lambert's pre-Sheff Wed interview, Niall Ennis is out for a few months with a "fracture".

Free entry for the Checkatrade game vs Sunderland a week on Monday for members and STHs (just need to claim your ticket in advance).

A Monday night? Awesome - I might actually get to see a night match as I can never do Tuesdays or Wednesdays!

As it stands I think I'll be going (I was going to go regardless of it being a freebie, it was only other commitments that stopped me going to the Accrington game).

Lost 2-1.

Randall put us ahead. Brighton turned it around and not long after they went 2-1 up Regan Upton was sent off (2 Yellows)

If Bright and Ronan start on Thursday then fair enough, but I'd rather they played for the U21's than sit on our bench and not play at all. Bright spent 2 months last year being the first teams 18th/19th man and not playing any football at which point he went off the rails

Ronan and Deslandes involved in tonight's U23 game. U18 Captain John is also in the squad (as is Gladon who will probably get a start...)

Yep, we're at Molineux on Monday (I'm going)
