Wolves Academy Thread

We obviously have some decent youngsters at the club. I wonder if any will be given a chance in the first team squad.

Don't think Oldham are that pleased with the set up in this Cup

29-year-old Liam Feeney headed into the path of 28-year-old Anthony Stokes who finished past Ripley to give @Rovers U21 side the lead at HT.

Stoke currently losing at home to Bury despite fielding Muniesa, Imbula, Crouch and Bojan.

Quality movement and touch by Herc for his goal.

I had stuff to do last night, shame because I did originally want to go. I'll be at the game in December if I can, freebie or not.

Lambert didn't go because he had a 'previous engagement'. WTF??

He had something he couldn't get out of that was arranged before he got the Wolves job (i'm guessing it wasn't just a date night with Mrs Lambert). Not a difficult one to get he head around really.

My comment was tongue in cheek really, Kenny.
As long as it wasn't a trip to Dubai.

The few bits I've seen on here of the kids give me hope for the future, they really to seem good and comfortable on the ball and also when to pass it and when to run with it

Considering that Accrington are not doing that badly in league 2, was surprised that they didn't give us a harder game.

Some real attacking quality on show from us, though Enobakhare is probably the only one who is near to the first team squad (from the bits that I have seen either play he is a better option as third striker than Gladon, given that Mason is out of commission at the moment)

Am pleased that we went into that with no 'first team' players in the squad and still came out with a very positive result.

Bright really needs to be in our matchday squad. Finding it far too easy this season.

And I will be massively dissapointed if Ronan doesn't make it here - he is a quality footballer. Herc seems to be developing in a similar fashion too.

Wolves first out of the pot and will play Sunderland U21s in the Checkatrade...

Portsmouth away in the Premier League Cup tonight (it's a group stage, we lost to Everton in our first game and Norwich are the other team in the group).

Harry Beasley, Anthony Breslin, Harry Burgoyne, Nicu Carnat, Joe Delacoe, Sylvain Deslandes, Ross Finnie, Morgan Gibbs-White, Christian Herc, Connor Johnson, Conor Levingston, Hakeem Odoffin, Will Randall, Connor Ronan, Aaron Simpson, Regan Upton and Donovan Wilson.

Still no Evans, we don't seem to be using the formal U23 fixtures for injured/fringe players much this season. Dicko is an exception but the likes of Silvio, Saiss, Hause etc have just gone straight back into the first team when they've come back from injury.

I'll pop along to this, shame Ennis is with England but will be good to catch some of the others I've been reading about recently.

What the hell is the Premier League Cup when it's at home?
